1964 World Series Yankee Stadium. New York Yankees vs. St. Louis Cardinals.

  • New York:: Standard Press,, 1964.
By {World Series Program]:
Program, 4to, pictorial covers, illustrated, 68 pp. In wonderful condition, some very slight aging, but bright and clean; near fine. The 1964 series shows the Yankees finally losing their domenance in baseball, as the Cards win in seven. However, there was plenty of talent on both sides, including Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Bobby Richardson and Clete Boyer for the Yanks, and Curt Flood, Lou Brock, Bob Gibson, and Ray Sadecki for the Cards. Plenty of great photos, and some great historical information on both teams.
