Plus the 1865 "Excursions et Decouvertes Malacologiques Faites en Quelques Localites de la Belgique" by Jules Colbeau, SIGNED BY JULES COLBEAU in a pasted-on signature on the title page. And finally, 5 other Jules Colbeau titles bound-in at rear. Together, all 7 volumes are bound in a contemporary-to-the-period 1/4 leather over marbled boards, with bright gilt-lettering along the spine. A bit of foxing at the fore-edge, tiny, unobtrusive former owner labels on the front pastedown, the spine and the front panel. A very presentable copy, including several plates (one in color) and a beautiful engraving of Colbeau serving as the frontispiece.
