The extremities are rubbed, and the underlying boards are exposed in numerous areas along the edges of the covers. There is a contemporary owner's name in ink on the front pastedown. The first two pages are detached at the head and foot, and the text block is cracked at the beginning and has partially pulled away from the backstrip. The pages are darkened. Flake 806. Flake cites this work as, "Fiction concerning the Mormons." One of many in the "Ned Nimble' series and a forerunner to "Ned Nimble Among the Mormons.
