[Photo Album]: Gould Rex Mays Classic at the Wisconsin State Fair

[West Allis, Wisconsin, 1976. Softcover. Near Fine. Oblong folio. Plastic comb-bound oak tag wrappers. 16 glossy black and white gelatin silver images. Various sizes, several larger. A few finger smudges on the wrappers, near fine; the images are fine. Very artfully mounted images are (mostly) of attractive halter-topped and beer drinking young women. From the content of the album, but for a single image of the marquee sign for the event, it would be difficult to guess that these were taken at an Indy Car race. It is clear the photographer's mind was somewhere else. A relatively slight but artfully created and mildly pleasing little album, with a narrow but clear window into 1970s culture.
