Letters from a late Eminent Prelate to One of his Friends

These letters were addressed to Richard Hurd, Bishop of Worcester and were first printed by Hurd for the benefit of Worcester Infirmary in 1808. A second and third edition were published in 1809. Warburton was Hurd's friend and literary patron. On Warburton's death Hurd purchased his library and undertook to edit his works as well as arranging this work.
