A photo album from 1894-1896 of snapshots set mostly in either Connecticut or Florida. The early photos are from Connecticut with images of the Danbury Fair Grounds depicting livestock, carnival games, and show horses. Another section of photos shows a family on a Connecticut farm with photos of a family posing on a porch and images of the farmhouse. Bridgeport Harbor is seen here with images of sailboats, ships, and a group photo of the crew of a schooner. One photo shows the Robinson Fur Factory, another shows a man posing with his horse and carriage with a caption which reads, "a study."

About the second half of the album is set in Florida beginning in Hawthorne with a group photo of men posing on a dock with the caption, "Group of Hawthorne boys." Another photo shows a man standing by a Palmetto tree. One photo of an orange grove reads, "orange tree after freeze of '94, should be laden with fruit." The photos then show a trip to Jacksonville, Florida beginning with West Bay, Union Station train depot, and Riverside Avenue. There are also photos from Lochloosa Creek with snapshots of the foliage on the river banks and a man rowing through the creek. A large photo shows a hunting trip with horses, dogs, and a man chopping firewood. There are a few photos interspersed throughout the album from South Carolina including an image of Fort Sumter.

An interesting collection of early Florida and Connecticut snapshots.
