The edges of the covers are very gently rubbed, bumped and faded. There are several faint smudges on the front flyleaf. The dust jacket is in very good condition as well, with light soiling. The spine is subtly faded. Inscribed by Lawrence Durrell on the front free endsheet. Durrell is best known for The Alexandria Quartet (1957-60).
