Mountainside [Magazine], Vol. 1, Charter Issue

Blacksburg, Virginia: Plantation Willow Run, 1980. Quarto. 62p. Mountainside was a short-lived magazine that dealt with the New River Valley. Besides some articles on early history of the area, this issue dealt with a number of women's issues. This was the first volume and dealt with items of local interest dealing with accounts of the coffeehouse, pictures from the early 1900's and Pat Neumann's article on local hikes. An interesting item of local history.
