Chicago: The Tribune Company, 1923. Burlap. Near Fine. A tight, gorgeous copy of the 1923 1st edition. Surprisingly crisp and well-preserved in its original buckram binding, with pristine leather title-labels at both the front panel and spine. One small, neat name in ink at the first blank endpaper, otherwise all-but-immaculate internally. Easily a Near Fine copy, while legtimately approaching Fine. In fact, the nicest this bookseller has seen. Tall, thick quarto, 281 crisp black-and-white renderings, showcasing some of the great international architects of the day, such as Adolph Loos, Walter Gropius, Eliel Saarinen, etc. An introductory note by the formidable Louis Sullivan.
