Salt Lake City: Edward W. Tullidge, 1886. Early edition. Hardcover. Good. viii, [3]-896, 28, 151pp. Small thick quarto [24.5 cm] 3/4 brown leather with pebbled brown cloth covered boards. There are a couple of very light moisture stains on the covers. The text block is just beginning to come away from the front cover. The rear endsheet is cracked along the hinge. There are numerous dark stains along the edges of the endsheets. The front pastedown has a former owner's ink stamp and a booksellers' tiny label. There is another ink stamp on the title page. Frontis engraved portrait of Brigham Young. Several steel engraved portraits of prominent Utah men. Flake 9038a. With the Appendix, History of Salt Lake City Journalism.
