Beverly Hills, CA: United Artists, 1964. Two vintage studio still photographs from the 1964 French film.

A 1960s update on the deathless French crime figure. Fantomas is an infamous criminal with uncanny impersonation skills. With the use of various masks and disguises, he assumes a plethora of identities in order to successfully carry out his crimes. Pictured in these photos is the hapless Inspector Juve (here played by Louis de Funes), for whom Fantomas is always just a few steps away but still out of reach.

Shot on location in various locations around France.

10 x 8 inches. Near Fine, with a manuscript notation to the verso.
