[Andover]: Addison Gallery of American Art, 1973. Paperback. Very good. Paperback. Unpaginated pamphlet published in conjunction with two Andre exhibitions at the Addison Gallery of American Art. Thin 8vo, offset photographic plates; no text, but with a separate colophon sheet laid in. Wraps a bit tanned as usual, small bit of wear to the extremities, otherwise a nice copy of this uncommon Andre piece. Instead of a catalog, Andre produced this Artists' book for his 1973 solo show at the Addison Gallery which makes no reference to, or reproduces any of the works in the show, Instead, Andre hired a commercial photographer to document his hometown; stark snow covered industrial landscapes, work sites, transfer stations, and desolate quarries, all spaces that reference a "heaviness" and mass within the artists' own work.
