Custom-made, full-leather slipcase with Welch's name and the date this copy was gifted to him in bright gilt-lettering on front panel of the slipcase. On the inside of the book itself, just after the flyleaf, a special rice-paper dedication page is tipped-in declaring that this book is given to Jack Welsh from the Elfun Society in Fairfield, CT in Sept. of 1982. A sharp copy to boot of the Dec. 1902 third edition (same year as the first edition). 1 of 1000 copies printed. Bright and clean and VG+ in its original pictorial green cloth with red lettering. Also in red relief wonderful image of a golfer on front and back panel. Octavo, 147 pgs. Well-preserved and, with the Jack Welsh connection, a wonderful association copy.
