Book condition: Good with exposed corners, light rubbing to edges and moderate dampstaining to cloth; former owner's name and issue information written neatly on the front end-sheets; scattered marginalia in pencil to the first eight issues and rear free endsheet; pages 91-96 were roughly opened with no loss of text; tight binding with a few soiled pages, otherwise remarkably clean and bright. Perhaps most notable during this run of the Millennial Star was the death of the Prophet Brigham Young in August of that year, which is commemorated with issues 36 and 40 published with black borders.
