Iowa, 1919. Unbound. Near Fine. Oblong quarto album leaves. Disbound and lacking boards. Includes approximately 182 gelatin silver images, plus 11 additional loose images for a total of 193. Various sizes, most are around 4.25" x 2.75". Some images lacking, the loose images correlate roughly with the lacking images. A handful of the images are damaged or chipped, most are very good or a little better. Reasonably well-captioned and dated in white album ink or ink in the margins. Two of the images appear commercial. Almost all date from 1919, although a few are chronologically out of order that date from 1915-1920. Almost all depict life on the farm, with pictures of crops, animals (horses, cattle, hogs, chickens etc.), farm machinery, and family members; as well as pictures from the fair grounds: races, carousel, prize animals, automobiles, etc.
One interesting image is of a blurred horse and carriage race with the blurred area inked over to depict the image.
