Marginalia Rare Books is a women-owned bookshop dedicated to locating, preserving, and placing rare books and manuscripts that document the lived experiences of traditionally marginalized peoples. Specializing in antiquarian materials from the 16th through the 19th centuries, we collaborate with a largely institutional clientele to ensure their access to resources that support ongoing teaching and research. At Marginalia it is our mission that scholars, students, and the public have increased opportunities to see these histories valued, taught, studied, and celebrated.
