Considered by Carême, Escoffier and Nignon as most important work of its time. Daniel Morcrette, the publisher, was a leading collector of rare cookbooks who decided the rest of the world needed to be able to posses these near extinct cookbooks - so he decided to produce exquisite copies. Full green sheepskin binding with inlays and all edges gilt. Housed in a cloth covered slipcase. Interior and boards pristine, slipcase rubbed at edges.
