From an original painting by Marilyn Newman, this menu depicts a scene from an English Coffee House, which is discussed on the back cover. Completed in 1930, the Barbizon-Plaza Hotel was originally built as the first residential hotel equipped as a music and arts center in the United States. This extensive menu features, Seafood, Salads, Sandwiches, Soups, and a large array of Entrees including: Roast L.I. Duckling with Orange Bigarade, Braised Rump Steak in Red Wine Sauce, Fresh Salmon Steak from the grill, and much more. A Champagne selection along with other cocktails, wines, and liquors is featured on both sides of the menu. Clean and crisp.
