Jersey City, NJ: C.F. MUELLER CO, 1937. Staplebound. Color illustrated wraps. Near fine. 28 pages. 21 x 15 cm. Christian Mueller, a German immigrant living in Jersey City, NJ, started Mueller's Macaroni Products in 1867 by selling his handmade egg noodles via a basket to local residents around town. In 1937, Mueller's published this recipe booklet featuring serving suggestions, recipes, menus, and cooking instructions. The recipes may not be the authentic version of Italian dishes from Italy but for the time, they suggest a wide array of fare. Wonderfully illustrated with color photos and illustrations. Covers very lightly rubbed at spine, otherwise crisp and clean.
