This edition is published by the proprietors of Hood's Sarsaparilla at a time when this product professed to cure everything one could think of by ingesting this product - "Hood's Sarsaparilla Purifies The Blood, 100 Doses - One Dollar." Illustration of Hood's "laboratory" on back cover. Title page features a tipped in advertisement: "Presented by H.C. Millington, Sadawga, VT. Dry Goods, Groceries & Hardware."
