Anne Rosenzweig is a pioneering American chef and restaurateur, best known for her influential role in New American cuisine in New York City during the 1980s and 1990s. She was widely regarded as a leading woman chef of her generation and was sometimes called the Greta Garbo of the food world. She became executive chef and co-owner of Arcadia on the Upper East Side, a restaurant that earned strong critical attention and a three star review from Ruth Reichl at The New York Times.
