c1860s Naive Woven Polished Paper Friendship Token
1860. Light wear with some oxidation. A saw-toothed border leaf shaped hand cut polished paper leaf (4" x 3 1/4") with stripped of blue, pink, navy and yellow paper decoratively woven through the leaf creating a geometric design. Housed in a 7"x 5" oval what appears to be gutta percha frame. Framed at a later date.
